It will not connect to the verizon. Anyone have a solution? OK, figured out a solution. You have to go to your mail. Then select Outlook Desktop. It will generate a 16 character code.

Copy that code and use it as your PW. If using IMAP, you will have to change the incoming and outgoing servers to imap. You do that by selecting manual setup and after it fails, change settings. Use that same 16 character PW and it seems to work. Did for me anyway. Hope that helps. I have also been using Outlook with my verizon.

My Outlook stopped receiving email early on July 12, but my aol account was still receiving email. Somehow I managed to hit the right sequence of events to get my email working again. My Verizon mail on my Mac desktop stopped working on July 28th. Not working on my iPhone 11 either. I can only get my mail by going to AOL homepage mail account. My work around is having all my emails forwarded from aol to my Gmail account, I added Gmail to Mac mail.

I was able to add AOL to my phone. Very confusing, I had a headache trying to fix it. Settings must of been changed. July 27 all but 2 of Mail accounts through Verizon went down on my Mac desktop. Port settings, SMTP, etc.
