Mylan fentanyl patch opiophile

I use the Mylan patches. I have to call the pharmacies every month to make sure they have that brand, which most don't due to it not being the 'preferred' brand, but I've found a place that carries them. The Watson and the other brand I can't remember DO work, but they don't work as well as the Mylan does. I asked my Pain Specialist about this and he said it's because they might work differently when going through the pores and what not.

Just have to find which works best for you and call the pharmacy ies ahead of time to see which they have. Some pharmacies will tell you that they can't give you that information over the phone, because of it being a Schedule II drug I think , but if you tell them your story they'll sometimes let it slide.

If I take it off for the hour or so I can't get it to stay back on. I was thinking about finding out which pharmacy provides the Mylan, just because it's a bit smaller and I'll try to not get it wet. Any advice? Does it still work if I submerge in the water for awhile? It does the job - does not wash off in the shower and does not irritate my skin. Lately all I can get are the Mylan brand. While they do seem to stay on better, I received an overdose once when taking a bath.

Now I can only take a bath when it's time to change my patch. I was a nurse many years ago, I worked with some of the best surgeons in my area. The patch does not get you high like pills do. That was the main reason I switched from taking pills to the patch. With pills I had to have my liver and kidney functions tested regularly. I also found that I got cavities in my teeth. Since the patch, I've had no more cavities, I don't feel high or sick on the patch and no one knows or can tell that I am on it. I've Never had any issues with it impairing any of my senses, seeing, feeling, slow reflex, that you might see with someone on oxy or other pills.

Z Guest. Mylan patches break down pretty easy using heat, time and an acid like citric or vinegar. I would let a patch simmer for an hour in a mildly acidic solution and had good results. I like the mylan patches because the dosage is consistently spread throughout. Ie half a patch is half a patch. The problem with gel is mostly that from my understanding. The fentanyl can be unevenly distributed through the gel. Most people squeeze out a blob and smoke it.

Never dome it. A safetyeasure might be to cook up a whole patch at once and then divide the dosage down. If you mix it using bacteriostatic water it should stay good for a few weeks.
